Wait. You’re telling me to visit a bank. There’s got to be a catch. There is. I call it the Richwood Bank effect.
While I’m sure their rates are great and they have all the products of the other banks, that’s not what makes them different – or why they are No. 5 on this random list of businesses.
It is the people. Ever tried to hit the drive thru at your bank at 5 p.m. on a Friday? Yeah, that doesn’t happen very often at Richwood. Why? Because they are all going inside and you will also standing six – or – seven deep to deal directly with your favorite teller.
But you won’t be parched while you visit as Richwood Coffee has free small coffees and can provide lots of other options from snowballs to lattes. Make a donation to one of the community charities — Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity and 4H among them in Delaware — and get a “thank you” points. Those points can be redeemed for coffee cups and other swag or drinks.
Sure those things are nice but the real reason we bank at Richwood? Decisions are made locally – right up State Route 37 in Richwood, Ohio. So you get the benefit of a growing and vibrant bank with the service to the community that comes from a small-town bank.
Stop in at 1512 West William Street in western Delaware, Ohio, to enjoy something a little different and what banking should be. We think, you’ll be glad yo4u did.
