Georgetown Plaza Adds Pharmacy
Gale Pharmacy brings the independent pharmacy experience back to Delaware, Ohio with its opening on November 2, 2016.
Located in the Georgetown Plaza, at the intersection of Troy Road and West Central Avenue, the pharmacy has great opportunity with OhioHealth’s Grady Memorial across the street and the former location of CVS only a few store fronts away.
According to its Web site, Gale Mussleman was born and raised in Forest, Ohio located in Hardin County. Graduated from Riverdale HS and then attended Ohio Northern University where he majored in pharmacy. He graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He began work as a pharmacist in 1987 with SupeRx Drugs in Lancaster, Ohio. In 1995, he began a 9 year stint with Medco Health in Columbus, Ohio. While working at Medco Health, he met his wife Jill Vaughn. They were married in March of 2000 and Gale moved to Delaware, Ohio. From 2005 through 2015, Gale worked in Delaware in the independent pharmacy sector for such companies as The Medicine Shoppe, Buehler’s Pharmacy, and Ritzman Pharmacy. In February of 2016, Buehler’s Foods and Ritzman Pharmacy closed in Delaware, Ohio. Gale accepted a position with CVS and was employed in Lewis Center, Ohio until his departure in late August to open Gale’s Pharmacy.
