John Freeman’s “Whatever You Think It’s Worth” annual Christmas Breakfast will be held on December 14 from 5:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Hardware Exchange in Delaware, Ohio.

Don’t wait until 11:30 a.m. as it is only serving until the food runs out.

“The volunteers and the businesses come together and allow the ‘SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS’ to come alive!”

John Freeman Breakfast expects to serve more than 1000 people on December 14.

The event began in 1977 as a way for Freeman to celebrate his friends and customers at his service station on South Sandusky Street. The first year was maybe 10-15 people, Freeman told the Delaware Gazette in a 2018 story. Those 10-15 people morphed to 30-40 in the second year to now 42 years later 900-1000 people are expected to make their way through the lines.

The donations are given to the John Freeman Foundation, a 501(c) non-profit organization, which disburses the money to needy families all around Delaware County.

All of the workers are volunteers, and local business people donate some of the food and supplies.

Hardware Exchange is located at 141 South Sandusky Street in Delaware, Ohio.
