During a recent trip to Kentucky there were two “must stop” locations and the first one was about two hours south of Delaware, Ohio, in Fairfield, Ohio.
Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only destination grocery store that I’m aware of right now. We’ve been to three of the locations but I’m highlighting the original in this post simply because … well it is the original.
Explaining Jungle Jim’s is hard. It is a wine store inside a food store inside an international market inside an amusement park, or something like that. My favorite part is the ability to get cuisine from all over the world without driving all over town. Granted, we did drive two hours to get there.
We were able to get everything for a four-day stay in the hills of Daniel Boone National Forest at Jungle Jim’s. So if you are heading to the Queen City a detour to Jungle Jim’s.
Jungle Jim’s International Market’s original location is located at 5440 Dixie Highway in Fairfield, Ohio. The market is open 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. seven days a week.
