Sliding through the cornfields of northeast Delaware County is Ashley, Ohio, and today’s stop on 365: The Tour the Rusted Nail Grill and Tavern.
The story goes that the owner ran some of the more popular restaurants in Columbus, Ohio. Got tired of the “rat race” moved to the country and opened this little gem in the country. I don’t know how true the story is the quality of the food does lend credibility to the story.
The specials include 1/2-off wings on Tuesday and their specialty “Pork Wings” on Wednesday for $13 and Fish and Chips on Thursday for $10. Plus they have weekend specials which recently included smoked turkey wings.
Keep and eye on their Web site or Facebook if you are a fan of live music as they usually have a band or two during the summer months.
Rusted Nail Grill and Tavern is located at 115 East High Street (State Route 229) in Ashley, Ohio. The restaurant is open 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
