The Westerville Model Aeronautics Association founded in 1968 will be holding a “swap meet” at Dinneen Field today, May 8, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The event will feature the opportunity to purchase or swap items for those interested in RC Planes. And for more fun the Hogback BBQ Pit food truck will be there as well.

Founded in 1968, the Westerville Aeronautics Association is Columbus’ radio-controlled aeromodelling club. The monthly business meeting is held the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. The club annually has a “Freeze Fly” on January 1 and in March conducts its Annual Show, in addition they will have IMAC Challenge, Library Day, Pylon Races, Columbus Scale Classic, Fun Flys, and cookouts
Dinneen Field, Alum Creek State Park
Dinneen Field was built by the members of Westerville Aeronautics Association but is free for those with a valid Academy of Model Aeronautics license to use. The field is open from dawn to dusk and has a paved parking lot. Dineen Field is located at 5770 Africa Road in rural Lewis Center, Ohio.
