Located along a quiet country road in rural Knox County the auction is at the edge of Amish Country as Central Ohio residents would see it. Located about 15 minutes from I-71 and State Route 95 it is a scenic drive to Fredericktown, Ohio‘s zip code.
The auctions vary by what is in season and what the local farmers have to sell. There are essentially two auctions going on at once with the single-family auction outside featuring baked goods and smaller quantities of the produce, flowers, etc. Inside the building, you’ll find the bulk sales that are focused on restaurants or in our case canners.
During the spring the auctions are held on Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m. Ashley, Ohio resident Collin Howard, of Howard Auctions, is the lead auctioneer at Owl Creek. Interested in prices? They will publish the sale prices for recent ales on the Website.
Owl Creek Produce Auction is located at 7385 County Road 22 (Waterford Road) – about an hour northeast of Delaware, Ohio — in rural Fredericktown, Ohio.
