When you walk around your business the last thing you usually see are the number of printers and copiers. But, that doesn’t get past Jerrod A. Hunt.
Jerrod has served as a major account executive for the past three years with MT Business Technologies, a Xerox Company, is an assassin for the wayward printer. Reducing the number of machines can often save a substantial amount of money for the customer.
It is the varied level of customers that keeps Jerrod excited about his business. “[My favorite part of the business is] working with organizations of all sizes from one-unit users to the majority of the school districts, County offices, and City offices to provide a one-stop shop for all technology needs.”
Those technology needs are being serviced by MT Business Technologies, which for more than a century serviced the needs of its printer and copier customers from its Mansfield, Ohio, base. In 2017, Xerox purchased MT Business and took the regional plyer and made them a worldwide force. But, in a lot of ways they are still that one-on-one small business Delaware Countians grew up with.
“We are a small company with a local presence while being backed by the purchasing power of Xerox,” said Jerrod.
Locally, Jerrod is active in numerous areas including serving as a two-term President for the DelCo Profit Builders BNI Chapter in Delaware. His favorite part of working within the greater Delaware community is “seeing the true passion each business owner or executive has in the community and betterment of the community.”
Jerrod and his wife, April, reside in New Albany, Ohio. Jerrod is a Mansfield-native and Madison High School graduate.
