With nearly 30 years of experience helping home buyers purchase their new home, it would be easy for Wright-Patt Credit Union’s Julie Horvath, NMLS 563029, to put her career on cruise control. But she still gets as excited for each new home buyer or refinance as she did years ago.
When it comes to what keeps her going, Horvath replied “helping people achieve homeownership when buying a home and financial freedom that occurs when someone can refinance their home.”
She has been market manager for Wright-Patt Credit Union for the past 2 1/2 years. Horvath dispelled the “idea” that Wright-Patt was only for those associated with the air force base in Dayton.
“Wright Patt Credit Union is a not-profit financial institution that shares the annual profits with our Member Owners each year, and you just need to live, work, worship, go to school, or be a retired military member to qualify for membership with us,” said Horvath.
Horvath is a long-time Delaware, Ohio, resident and enjoys the diversity of downtown Delaware and the events put on by Main Street Delaware. “The diversity of the residents, the strength of the school district, and the robust downtown and Main Street Delaware initiatives,” are part of what has kept her family in Delaware.
Julie resides in Delaware, with her husband of 23 years, Frank. The Shippensburg University alumnus has “three” children; Kelly is at Miami University, Ethan is at the University of Toledo, and Lexi is their very-spoiled 7-year-old black lab.
